ABS for Couch Potatoes

You are lazy but you want to have a six-pack anyways? Well, then I have the solution for you: work out while watching TV. Let’s start some multitasking!

I suggest you do 3 sets of the four exercises and if you can do an other round that would be pretty awesome. You can work your abs every other day. You will get best results if you regularly do cardio and eat healthily.

1. TOE TAPS

3 sets 12 repetitions each side

2. SITTING SIDE CRUNCHES

Sit on your couch with a good posture. Pretend there is a band that stretches from the bottom of your spine to the top of your head. Place your feet on the ground, hip-width apart, directly in front of you. Now lift the left leg and bring your knee up to meet your right elbow. Then do the same on the other side.

3. DOUBLE CROSS

Come into plank position. Your arms are stretched out under your shoulders on the couch. Your whole body forms one straight line, look down to continue the extension of your spine. Lift your right arm while taking a step to the side with your right foot. Then come back to the original position and repeat on the left side.

4. SIDE PLANK

Put your left elbow down on the couch and keep your shoulder straight. Rest your right hand on your hip and try to hold your body in a straight line for 5-10 seconds. If you want to challenge yourself more, push your hips up and lower them down to the starting position again. Repeat 6-12 times.

Hold for 5-10 seconds 3 times both sides
